Today’s Message – 2022-01-20

Oluwamuyiwa Okuseinde

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest” (Ecclesiastes 9:10).

God wants the best for us. It has always been so since the beginning, and there is nothing that will change that counsel of the Most High. However, in order to experience what God has designed for us, there are a couple of steps that we must take. We will explore some of them over the next few days.

The first is that you must be your best and give your best at all times because whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well. No matter how insignificant what falls to your path to do is, give it your best shot for as long as you are persuaded that it is a worthy cause. You don’t know who might be watching you.

When you do your best at all times and you give your best to whatever you are engaged in, you will eventually receive the best in life and also turn out to be the best. That is the story of all great men in all walks of life.

David played the harp with so much passion and expertise as though he was going for a competition or that he would be paid for it. He didn’t know that someone was watching who would eventually become an adviser to the king. One day, the king came under a serious affliction and a musical therapy was recommended as the cure. The palace official who had watched David play the harp with such incredible devotion told the king about David and he was promptly engaged as a cabinet minister for tension management.

Be your best, give your best and do your best. You will end up as the best with the best. It is an important rule for success in life.
