A WORD FOR YOUR HEALING AND DELIVERANCE

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalms 107:20).

God is a Healer and a Deliverer. He will do everything needed to heal the sick and set the oppressed free. Today, I want you to know that God wants you totally healed and delivered.

A principal tool God uses to heal and deliver people is His word. God’s word is not just for our education, information and edification. It is also packaged to effect tangible, positive transformation in our life. When the Word comes to you, whether through personal study, preaching, or by some other means, the grand purpose of God is for you to experience all-round physical, spiritual, emotional and material transformation and renewal through the word.

One translation of the Bible renders today’s scripture verse thus: “He sent his word to heal them, and delivered them from their destructions”. Notice the preposition ‘to’ in this version instead of the conjunction ‘and’ in other translations. Clearly, whenever God sends His word to us, any word, it is for the primary purpose of delivering the hearers of the word from every kind of bondage, be it sickness, wrong habits, problems, poverty, the wickedness of men or satanic oppression.

The word of God that you are reading right now is sent to you to do the work of healing and deliverance. It would not matter the nature of the situation you are faced with. This word you are reading is adequately equipped for your total deliverance. It is sent to bring you restoration to spiritual and mental sanity, physical and emotional peace, vocational and financial prosperity – and much more.

There is power in the word of God. The centurion understood this and requested the Lord to send His word for the healing of his servant. He was not disappointed. Right now, I send the word of God for your healing and deliverance in Jesus name.
