OPEN DOOR TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD

“For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father” (Ephesians 2:18).

Access is crucial to making progress in life. Whether in business, ministry, academics, or any other profession, it is important to have access to appropriate tools, capital, and other resources with which to facilitate your endeavours.

But by far, the greatest and most important access everybody needs is the door of access to God. This is one door that opens all other doors. Access to God is a game changer that can change anything in your favour. With a functional access to God, even your enemies cannot say, “no” to you (Proverbs 16:7).

Moreover, understand that access to God does not only deliver in this world. When a man secures access to God, he has also gained access to God’s eternal kingdom. When that man is done with the business of living in this world, he is guaranteed a time and a place of bliss with God in eternity. What a great privilege!

Today’s Bible verse reveals that this all-important access comes through Jesus Christ. Access to God is not obtainable by mere observance of religious practices, good works or any form of self righteousness, but by Jesus who sacrificed His life on the cross. He is the way to the Father (John 14:6). He is the door (John 10:7). When you commit your life to Him, you will have access to the Almighty Father which guarantees your access to everything God has.

As you make Jesus your Lord, may access to peace and joy be yours. Access to advancement, fulfilment, and the very best of God is guaranteed to you in Jesus Christ’s name.
