“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James 2:26).
After praying earnestly for rain, Elijah had to physically gird up his loins and run before God gave him speed and ordered his steps with supernatural swiftness (1 Kings 18:46). Until a man moves, he may never see the move of God and he will not know what great things God has in store for him.
You must get up and do what you have to do so that you can enter into what God has already done. You must attend to the physical responsibilities that lie in your path. Until then, you will never know what possibilities God has laid ahead of you. If Peter did not get up, take his fishing hook and go to the sea, he would never have experienced the miracle of finding money in the mouth of a fish (Matthew 17:27).
Joshua and the Israelites witnessed the supernatural workings of God by the bank of river Jordan. The water dried up and the people passed through on dry ground. But that miracle did not happen until the people took the step of faith. The Lord had commanded that the priests who bear the ark should first dip their feet in the brim of the water. When they did, that step of faith and obedience activated the power of God which caused the water to stop flowing.
Beloved, it is what you do that the Lord will prosper (Psalms 1:3). As you do your part, God’s blessing will come upon you and give you supernatural success.
