“Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 1:20).
The Bible records that after Jesus was raised from the dead, He was subsequently set at the right hand of the Father in the heavenly places, far above all principality, power, might, and dominion, and every name that is named, both in this world and in the world to come (Ephesians 1:20).
The implication of the above is that the power that raised Jesus back to life also lifted Him far above everything in all realm of existence. God’s word makes it clear that this power that God exercised in Christ is the same power He has towards everyone who believes (Ephesians 1:19-20). It means that Christ’s resurrection power is designed to accomplish in us the exact things it accomplished in Christ.
Clearly then, the resurrection of Jesus Christ must produce lifting or elevation for us. Indeed, when Jesus rose from the dead and took His place at the right hand of the Father in heaven, the Bible says that we were also made to rise with Him and were seated together with Him in that exalted position at the right side of the Father (Ephesians 2:6). The same power that lifted Him also lifted us and put everything under our feet.
Beloved, as long as you are in Christ, no power can keep you down anymore. You are ordained to be above only and not beneath. Your promotion and elevation is guaranteed by the working of the power of His resurrection, in Jesus name.
