WHEN GOD REMEMBERS YOU

“And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt” (Genesis 19:29).

To be remembered by God is to be visited by Him in order to effect a supernatural occurrence. All through the scripture, remembrance from above creates an atmosphere for divine intervention in critical areas of life. Thus, miracles follow whenever God remembers His people.

For example, when God remembers you, your prayers are answered, your requests granted, and your desires fulfilled. Abraham had spent considerable time to intercede for the city of Sodom, pleading that the city should not be destroyed for the sake Lot. At first, it appeared as if God would not honour the prayers of Abraham. But in the end, He remembered Abraham and granted his request in His own way. May the Lord remember you and grant your requests.

Again, the remembrance of God brings salvation and deliverance from destruction, afflictions and every evil. Even though the city of Sodom was destroyed, the event that took place proved that deliverance will always follow when God remembers a man. May the Lord remember you for good and save you from every impending calamity in Jesus name.

Finally, today’s scripture tells us that when God remembers a man, his entire family will benefit from that divine visitation. God remembered Abraham, but it was Lot who enjoyed the blessing of that visitation. May the Lord remember you and may it turn to unprecedented blessings for your family and loved ones in Jesus name.
